Alex Rodriguez says his relationship with Jennifer Lopez is “moving in the right direction,” a source close to the former baseball player exclusively leaks to The Club Hits Radio. Our impeccable insider says the romance was at first just “fun” and “exciting,” and has now progressed very naturally into a “comfortable” relationship, with the two of them and their kids acting as one unit.
We’re told that despite both their superstar statuses (and jet setting), Rodriguez and Lopez work on keeping it “simple.” They exercise together when they can; they share meals with their families; and they support each other’s work, sometimes even accompanying the other to business commitments. Rodriguez recently met up with Lopez in the Dominican Republic, where she had a concert, but he also brought his daughters to the Caribbean island where they and the singer’s twins spent Easter together. “It’s just normal and comfortable,” notes our insider.
So, are they getting married? The Club Hits Radio is told by a Rodriguez source that he feels they’re “moving in the right direction.” As for the tabloid rumors about a quickie marriage, that’s a tad premature, notes out insider.
While Lopez and Rodriguez may one day head to the altar, The Club Hits Radio has had to correct a slew of speculative and inaccurate stories about them. More than a month ago, we busted HollywoodLife for an untrue article that alleged Lopez and Rodriguez were engaged already. It was all based on a photo of her wearing a diamond ring, which we pointed out was a piece of jewelry she’s actually had for years. The Club Hits Radio also shot down a Life & Style cover story that exclaimed Lopez and Rodriguez were ready for a “wedding and a baby.” Members of their camps laughed off that article as false.
For the time being, as Rodriguez confided to a source, he and Lopez are happy, their day-to-day is “normal and comfortable,” and barring an unforeseen issue, they’ll continue “moving in the right direction.”
