Kanye West does not wear a bulletproof vest every time he leaves his home, despite a new tabloid report. The Club Hits Radio can shoot down that absurd claim. We’re told it’s 100 percent “untrue.”
This week, the National Enquirer published a story that alleges West is “so paranoid he is going to be assassinated, he’s made a bulletproof vest part of his everyday attire.” Naturally, the supermarket tabloid has an unnamed and untraceable “snitch” claim, “He’s under the delusion that he’s a target.” The supposed source adds, “Kanye wears a bulletproof vest underneath his clothes whenever he leaves the house… even when it’s just out for dinner.” “He has nightmares of being hit by bullets,” maintains the outlet’s tipster.
While it’s true that the rapper accessorized his daughter North West with a bulletproof vest for his Adidas collection show at New York Fashion Week in February 2015, he himself does not wear protective gear whenever he’s outside. None of The Club Hits Radio’s Kardashian sources could independently corroborate the claim, and West’s own rep assures us it’s entirely “untrue.”
Of course, the Enquirer knows a bit about bullets from having shot itself in the foot a number of times while reporting about West. Back in 2014, the tabloid wrongly reported Kim Kardashian and West were getting a divorce. It’s also the same outlet that The Club Hits Radio busted for bizarrely claiming West used killer eagles to take down drones hovering over his house. The magazine misfired with those stories, and it’s still shooting blanks.
