Mariah Carey was not a “diva” during a recent trip to Disneyland, despite a made-up report. The Club Hits Radio can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
According to In Touch, the star, who allegedly treats Disneyland like it’s her own “personal playground,” acted like a “diva” while visiting the theme park in Anaheim, California over spring break. A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Employees were told not to directly talk to Mariah, and only address her assistant.” The tabloid’s dubious insider further purports that the park temporarily closed one of its most popular rides, “Peter Pan,” to accommodate the singer and her 20-person entourage during one of its “busiest times of the year.” “[Carey] expected the Disney princess treatment,” concludes the tipster.
But did this really happen? And why is it that thousands of people were at Disneyland then, and only one outlet seemed to have heard of this tale? In an age in which everything is recorded on cell phones, how could it be that not one person filmed Carey being a “diva” or having the “Peter Pan” ride shut down just for her and her entourage?
Well, The Club Hits Radio looked into this and found out it’s all untrue. A rep for Carey not surprisingly assures us the report is “ridiculous” and a complete “lie.” But even a Disneyland source tells us it “didn’t happen,” and the tabloid’s story is nothing more than fiction. The Disneyland employee says Carey did not act like a diva while there with her children and friends, and any claims to make her look like an evil witch are grounded in fantasy, not fact.
